The requirements for this challenge are:
1) Pink must be the prominent color
2) You must use at least one Cheery Lynn's Designs die
I have to admit as Valentine's Day approaches, I start feeling a lot more romantic, and this card just hit the spot. I experimented a lot with this card, and I ended up trying something very different with the Marianne dies. With my Big Shot, I cut and embossed two Marianne Anja's Edge's on each side of the white cardstock, alternating the two dies. I left a small space between each die, taped them down, and ran it thru my Big Shot. This formed two cuts, that I made into a slit, and I was able to slide the cardstock thru the slits. I glued these two pieces together very carefully, and then glued them to the main body of the card, the pink cardstock from Hobby Lobby. This card opens at the bottom. (I sure hope this makes sense to everyone - as I have never tried to explain myself before - LOL!)
I used three Cheery Lynn dies to make this card: the sweetheart roses were made from "Cuties 3"; the leaves from the "Flourish Leaf Strip"; and The hearts from "Celtic Heart".
Here's my card recipe:
Cardstock: Stampin Up, Whisper White and Certainly Celery, Designer Cardstock and Pink Cardstock from Hobby Lobby,
Dies: Marianne die Anja's Edge, Cheery Lynn Dies: Cuties 3, Flourish Leaf Strip and Celtic Heart
Flourish Bling: Michael's
I really hope you enjoy this card!
