Welcome Blog Friends!
I made two cards this weekend, both of them for Joan's Garden's Card Challenge #JG0131 "Create a Vintage Card". This one, was due to my daughter suggesting I make a "True Valentine card" in the traditional colors of red and white, instead of soft pastels. All of the scrollwork, swirls, and flowers remind me of a vintage Valentine's card.
I used the Cheery Lynn dies, "Two of Hearts" (this comes with two hearts, and I used the larger of the two). I threaded each heart with a narrow white ribbon, popped them out with dimensionals, and made some white roses using the Cheery Lynn Miniature Rose die. I then added some green leaves, some white rose buds, and a new flourish from Memory Box (one of my new favorites) now available at Joan's Gardens.
I hope you enjoy this card!
Paper Hugs,
Deb
